10,000 years is a series of staged experiences which combine to scale facsimiles of transportation with video and sound.

For the last seven years I have been building installations with films. It’s a journey whose origins begin with the consequences of the agricultural revolution and the emergence of monocultures. Wheat, caves, snakes and fire are featured throughout the films as signifiers of the primal subconscious.

The viewer is invited to take a seat in the train, plane, lift or carriage and drift through alternative ways of looking and being. The places seem familiar but through the films you are given a different perspective of those spaces; which perhaps makes you question your surroundings, offering the potential to reevaluate the dominance of one way of thinking.
